Furniture removal in Lewiston

Why furniture needs a plan
Lewiston curbside pickup does not take furniture. Donation centers often turn down worn, stained or broken pieces. That leaves a lot of couches and dressers sitting in garages and on porches. We take them out of the house and handle the disposal.
What we take
- Couches, loveseats, sectionals and sleeper sofas.
- Recliners and armchairs, including lift chairs.
- Dressers, chests and nightstands.
- Bed frames, headboards, mattresses and box springs.
- Dining tables and chairs, desks, bookshelves and entertainment centers.
- Outdoor and patio furniture.
How it is priced
One piece on its own is a single item at $64. Two or three pieces, or furniture plus a few bags, usually fit a small job at $119. A room of furniture is usually a medium job at $189. Mattresses and box springs add $20 each on a job.
Posted prices
Every job starts from the same posted price card. A single item is $64. A small job, up to about 1.5 cubic yards, is $119. A medium job, about 3 cubic yards or roughly a room, is $189. A mattress or box spring is $64 alone or $20 each on a job. A washer, dryer, stove or dishwasher is $69 alone and free on a job. A fridge, freezer, air conditioner or dehumidifier is $99 alone or $35 on a job. A TV or monitor is a $15 add-on. Construction debris is the job price plus 20%. Estate cleanouts start at $499 and hoarding cleanouts at $599. The full list is on the pricing page.
Getting furniture out
Lewiston has a lot of triple-deckers and older apartment buildings with narrow stairs and tight turns. Tell us the floor, whether there is a back stair, and anything tricky about the route. If a piece came in in parts, it may need to go out that way. Do not take apart anything that is unsafe to handle yourself.
Prep checklist
- Empty drawers and cabinets.
- Remove glass tops and mirrors if it is safe to do so, or point them out.
- Clear the hallway and stairs.
- Tell us about pets so they can be kept out of the way.
Doing it yourself
Lewiston residents can take furniture to the Solid Waste Facility at 420 River Road, and an EZCard waives tip fees on the first 1,000 pounds a year. See the EZCard guide.
How booking works
Send photos through the quote form or text them to (207) 333-1422. No card is needed to ask. Caden looks at the photos and sends your price. If it works for you, you pay from the link he sends and that confirms the slot. The price we send is the price you pay unless the pile changes. If you add things after the price goes out, the price is updated before work starts, not after.
